BIRTHDAY DRESS

Hey all! My mother decided to surprise me with this new dress for my birthday. I'm not sure where it's from since the tag is written in (what looks like) Korean. But it's lovely and i wore it the next day with the shoes i bought of my brothers birthday. I hadn't done much accessorizing - the belt came with the dress - but it did match nicely with the horn earrings i own. So this is the result of the quick little photoshoot of the outfit :)

No better time or place to wear your DIY dip dyed jeans but on a crisp sunny day at the beach. White and neon Aldo sandals and purse add a perfect pop to a simple outfit.

THE WATERFRONT - CASUAL MONDAYS

Whenever boredom strikes on a non-rainy day my friends and I like to go for a stroll along the beautiful waterfront. Comfy, casual and bright is perfect for a lazy Monday. Those Mondays are always the best.

PRINT ON PRINT

My favourite part about spring is my fathers beautiful garden all in bloom. The colours of pinks and purples and the fragrant smell of wisteria. Although its spring its still cold, but I can't help but want to wear shorts! High wasted floral print shorts paired with Material Girl geo-print shirt with leggings and a  black cardigan to keep me warm.

HOW TO RIP YOUR JEANS ON PURPOSE

Tears and rips in jeans just give them more personality and a flair of you not giving a rats tail. But when they just don't happen on their own to a very plain pair of old jeans you can give them a little help with a couple tools and 10 minutes.
The best tools to rip your jeans are scalpel/exacto knife, and a sheet of sand paper. It will be the quickest and easiest way to do it.

I would first put the jeans on and mark out where you want the tears to go

Then just take your scalpel/exacto knife and slice where you've marked

Now take the sandpaper and sand down the edges of the tears to give the fibers more softness

I find that when you also put them through the wash the tears will become more weathered looking

PARKING LOTS

Memories from when we were very young being taken around in our moms cars from parking lot to parking lot (because we wouldn't want to go inside the stores) come flooding back when we decide to relive those moments in our own cars. Iced tea, frappuccinos and some tunes is all we need.
